So my friend Sören and me made a 72-minute documentary film titled IS THIS FOLKPUNK? about Nuremberg's vibrant folk punk music scene, with its connections to all over the world. A mix of live music snippets, interviews and tour material our film features such amazing musicians as Efa Supertramp, Vraket, James Bar Bowen, Mäkkelä, Egotherapie, John Steam Jr, Chris Padera, Karin Rabhansl, Last Boys Left, Gold Rushian, Reverend Reefer and more. It is about the music as well as the philosophies and politics behind what we do, about DIY and community. You can watch a 28-minute short version of the documentary (in German and subtitled English)
or in the videos section of this site.
“There is a new gang in town” The Broken Lo-Fi Hearts present their self-titled debut EP straight out of the depths of loud-guitarred horse-saddled heartbreak.
Starting September 11 (2022) I will upload one brandnew song each sunday as a kind of countdown to the upcoming album

I don't know much about Brian Eno, nor did he influence me in any way creatively (not that I know of). But I love this particular Briano Eno quote. Recently found it again to describe to a friend what I am looking for in sound mixing and arrangements:
In a lucky coincidence, hanging in my mum's garden recently I have caught on camera what was perhaps the most exciting incident in the life of this peculiar creature. So I turned it into a music video. Zero budget, zero skills:
